what should i do?

1st of all if you have downloaded it correctly then the your problem is in the update. If you Update your rose be sure no disconnection will occur in atm. If it happen then you will have Error in your client when you open it or login problem.

1.) Download the full v216

2.) Download the Patch of Solarose v3

3.) Install the Rose to any folder.

4.) Update ur Client to v229 since this was the new release.
(Note: no disconnection / your connection should be fine atm when you update)

5.) Install the patch for Solarose in your Rose folder.

You can also go to https://solarix.myftp.org --> Install & Download for other info.

the method i used was given to me by kiters...

and what u just mentioned was the first thing i done..but still i still encountered that error..

as i run through google..that DLL file was somehow described as Microsoft DirectX..

Hmm i suspect that its your graphics card. Try to find the latest drivers for your graphics card, as well as make sure you have 9.0c or later of Directx. Im not sure if you would have to download a copy of the dll or not.

How about you download the .dll file and replace yours with theirs?
