Character won't move

After I start the game my character freezes around 1 minute in. The game is still moving but it's as if I'm severely lagging and everything stops. The music is still playing and I can click around but nothing happens.

Make sure your internet connection is fine? Also what ROSE ver are you using? If your using vista, maybe using the compability thing or run as admin will help.

I've updated my rose to the latest version and my internet connection should be fine.

I also forgot to mention that I'm using the client and instructions provided on the main website. I'm downloading and using the client and method you posted right now and I'll see if that fixes it.

Edit: I've tried using both methods to install the game and the problem still persists.

Did you ever try some of the vista problems if you are using vista?

I'm using xp and it seems that this problem only occurs on this server. I've also tried forwarding my ports for rose.

Then I don't know any other ideas why it won't work. Maybe other players will know a solution to this problem.

Hmm the freezing part may be due to lag, especially if you are in prison. After relogging you may be able to move again, but if you visit a crowded spot, there is a chance that you may freeze. A sign of this would be that you would still be able to talk in clan chat, yet unable to move your character. If this is the case, try logging in at a different time when it is less crowded to see if it still happens.

and one thing your ram should be enough so that you can play smoothly.
Try also an alternative like Play rose --> login --> ingame go options --> have the performance high than quality.
