| works only in WindowsXP SP2
works only in WindowsXP SP2....DSL/aDSL/T1/T3 User.
1. Go to
2. Start>Run
3. type gpedit.msc
4. Go to Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates>Network > QoS Packet Scheduler > Limit Reservable Bandwidth
5. Click 'Enable' then put 0% in the Bandwidth Limit and then click 'Apply'
and your Done!
there your connection is faster than before
NOTE:
if you do this one in a computer shop the you'll take up the bandwidth alloted for other PC's and those PC's will experience lag issues since you put the 0% limit. to revert this application just change the configuration to "not configured". for goodness sake just do this if you are trying to download very large files, and when i say large it means large! let's say more than 50GB

| As far as i understand, setting this configuration, is to maximize your allocation bandwidth for your application.
By default, windows reserve your net bandwidth to let say 90% to your application, 10% to the OS. So, even you are playing game or download stuff, things from windows update (critical update) will still flow to your PC and updated.
By make it 0%, you take the other 10% for your maximum download speed for your application.
