Hate slow startups for windows? Try this

NOTE: Pro's this is for you.. those who don't know much bout this stuff.. beware!

Windows will startup faster and it is safe to use since it wont affect your computer

1. Click Start>Run

2. Then type msconfig then press OK

3. In General Section

4. Click Selective Startup

5. Then go to Startup Section

6. Uncheck all programs that is not necessary for startup.. like quicktime, yahoo etc

and
then RESTART your PC , a pop up window will appear
CHECK the BOX so that it wont appear the next time you restart your pc


PS: You have to know "all" the necessary and the not so necessary programs for startup or else.. you know what will happen to your pc..

added more solution :


1.Use registry cleaner like ccleaner to clean ur registry and temp files
2.Take out all the unnecessary desktop icon in ur desktop, just use start menu to run a program
3.Never use the "automatically login" for msn or yahoo or other chat program
