Just open up your media player and click "open file" then ctrl click all the songs you want to play on your playlist.
Then there's some option someplace that lets you save the playlist. (I know where it is in the old media player, but Vista came with the new one... and I haven't been using media player at all now).

No clue how to make playlists on it, though. It just gives good sound and editing capabilities. | |
