Vote : Solarose v2 (1.61) or Solarose v3 (2.26)

OK guys...

Solarose V3 beta phase is over. Now it is truly Solarose V3. However, there is a catch. Database upgrade and merging at best, could be done with major conflict due to very different architecture of them.

So vote...

Solarose V3 (you get new server code, better stability, improve drops etc) but current database (which is started since 26th May will be used). Winners for this event will get prize in Solarose V3. Your char in v2 will be kept as backup only. No migration.

Solarose V2 (same code as before, but your char remain. Winners will get prize as well). Your char in V3 will not be moved to v2.

So choose wisely. Poll only active in 2 days.

I vote for for the v2 server

even the beta version is better than the 1.61, i prefer the old ones for my char is there, i cant do more playings coz i have a work. But will try to help the game and host events^_^

dang i think more people want the 1.61 more

Even thought i voted for v2 if v3 wins it will be fine for me.

I think ill vote for v2 for now cause theres still alot of things to be done in v3 (eg ehite unknown items etc) However, i think we will eventually have to switch to v3 else our server would fall behind others in terms of the things we have..

personal reason:
1. my character is there, not as high RB as the others but i also invested time to play solarose. and thanks to admin / gm for the support im enjoying playing here.
2. i know there will be a time when admin can update solarose from ver. 2 to ver. 3 maybe not now.

This is so hard i cannot choose >_>

On one hand, losing 2 months of mindless grinding would suck immensely. On the other hand... there is nothing else left for me in the current Sola -- but it would still suck immensely if I have to regrind eveything. I don't think I'm up for regrinding.

Well to upgrade the rose, he would have to move the database, but the structures are different, its like trying and place an octogon, in a triangle shaped box...nearly impossible, if both items were to be made of diamond.

so much people vote V2, as for me i like V3 more, soo much room for improvement and a good start

Maybe some of you do not clear yet...

If you choose v2, no further development will be done by me after this. I am completely done with that buggy code.

As for me, V2 is like Windows 98. There is nothing left to be patched, fixed or feature added.

Opposite to V3, it is completely new server code (rewrite from ground up) and more features can be added later, including patching several bugs as I have done in this several weeks.

when will the 161 go back up?

Basically guys, if you choose v2, the server will remain like that forever, nothing will be added, nothing will be taken out. He is done with it, and it is over with V2.



I STRONGLY suggest, that we do move to v3, because the buggs will be able to be fixed, and we have newer items. along with when new items are added into official, admin will have the chance to add them into this game as well.

I do say starting off with v3 will be a fresh start, but it is NECESSARY to make further improvement.

I would go to v3 too.. It has much more potential, and could turn out to be better, albeit we might have to start afresh. Its a tough choice, but one that has to be made.. Think about the future.. would everyone want to stay in a server that does not continue to grow anymore? Is the stats all there is to ROSE?

Some people may say its harder to level in v3, but its just that the mob isnt like in the past, where wardens can last till lvl 224 and predators till 229. But the mobs here now are much easier to kill (try killing a kera without reborns before?), and they just need some rebalancing to sort things out.

wat about we have both v2 and v3 it would be alot better and every one will split up and get new gg and gms for each server or you can do this gm you can put v2 and v3 on diferent server on v3 like solarion and chanel and the v3 one under the other one

It doesnt matter for me if solarose have something nice i will play

Well the status of having that many GM's / GG's would create chaos and more likely to have people betray.

Another reason would be, would you want to waste all your gigs and such running a game? and having to run just one is bad enough, but two at the same time would be insanity.
