Client Stopped Working after Patch XD

hi. i was on earlier today, but the server was down cause of V3, when it came up i logged in, i saw that i didnt have any character's but that didnt bother me, i had already read about it on the forum, so i created a new char but when i tryed to log on it, the Client Stopped working, anybody knows what to do ? i tryed run as adminstrator but didnt help. any suggetions ?

Are you sure if you're client is updated to the latest update?
If not, then go in your ROSE folder and run trigger Detect.
It will take quite a bit of time for it to update.

Thx for the help, but cant say it made it better, now the game shut down when i press login/enter after i have written my username and password. why ? i tryed to change to window mode and back again still same problem, and no error or anything, it just shut down. xD

Re-install the "Solarose v3 Patch"
If you have Microsoft Vista then, right click on the Solarose launcher (the .bat file), click properties, click compatibility, check the 1st box, click the arrow and choose Run with Windows XP (Service Pack 2).

did that too, didnt help. should i re install game ?

Sure, but if that doesn't work try to download the Solarose v1.61 and update with trigger detect, and do those things that I said.

well, i use the compatibility thing alot, since i got Vista SP1 XD but im already installing.

The most i would say for you to do is since you have VISTA, you would have to use the intentional way that Muazzy said, but also before doing that, you would either have to download the solaRose v.161 and update it with TriggerDetect, (or if you still have the download file, then you can just re-paste the folder.)

OR

you can go to the Rose online site and download the REAL version and then run the solaRose v3 patcher into the official rose folder, and then run the game using the solaRose.bat file as your launcher



Note : Remember that the solaRose.bat file but be inside the same file as the game (meaning it should be in a rose folder that is updated to .226, as long as the solaRose.bat file is there then all is well, supposivly.)

well, i dont know whats wrong but as i wrote its since the V3 came out, before it came out i could play. but im updating my rose to 226 again.

Well make sure you are running your trigger detect and then when you are running solaRose, you arn't using the old SolaRose launcher, BUT you are using the new "solaRose.bat" file to LAUNCH the game.

im still updating, the new launcher is SolarRose.bat right ? and the old was SolarRose.exe ?

Correct (Just that its SolaRose not SolarRose XD)

Edit: Nope didnt work XD im downloading from real Rose now. well, i found out the problem was with my client, since i doenst matter if its normal rose or Solarose it still exit the game at least i got that out of it.

I dont think you should not download the 1.61. Instead you should try to get the ver 226 straight from http://roseonlinegame.com/Pds/Down.asp

Alternatively, you could download ver 216 from ftp://ftp.gravityus.com/ROSE_client/full/ROSE_Online_216_Setup.exe or http://www.ausgamers.com/files/details/html/43338 (taken from https://solarix.myftp.org/v3/download&install.php)

I dont recommend downloading 1.62 and patching from there.. it could take ages..

but still same problem, im trying diffrent things right now, and maybe it will work out. xD
and you are right, it would take ages to go from 161 to 226

Well, what have you tried?

list of things i tried:
Installing rose 216 from 3 diffrent links. + From real rose.
Installing Rose 161 from 2 diffrent links.
and of course updated to 226 everytime. xD
scanned pc.


now im stuck with new error. the game close at the start at the gravity thing, then it says: Client stopped working a shut down. any suggestion's?
oh. and for the firewall, i couldnt find solarose.bat so i took trose(or whatever name it has), but anyone got the port for sola rose ?

You would have to run using the bat, not the Trose direct.. cause the ip is different. You might also need to set Trose to run in compatability mode for Windows XP SP2 and as an administrator if you are using Windows Vista.
