GM Application Style

Hey guys!

well i had a thought about how players apply for GM applications

by the look of it, any player may PM Admin with an application this is correct?

my idea is that (NO I DID NOT STEAL THIS FROM SPEED ROSE!!!) we have some limits and dissalow the applications.

here we go...

Players play the game and enjoy the server, and in general make a name for themselves. thats what i do... anyway. i mean better to be recognized on the server than just have a good character right? anyway. my idea is that players enjoy the server and get popular. if there are a few select players that Admin really likes, say they are very helpful in game to players, help out with the server, maybe help the devs form time to time, lots of good feedback in the forums ect... then Admin could promote them to to MVP.  SO we have a few MVP's that dont have any power in the server, but players would look up to them for help plvling sometimes, you know the works. 

THEN say a few months later Admin decides he wants a new GM, or maybe an old GM quit/got fired.

instead of accepting an apop form some random dude he's never met, he can pick form a list of MVP's. this way he alreadfy knows everything about them, and by there status clearly reliable and such. 

idk i liek this because then you dont get stuck with some crap GM that just wants free items. you get more people liek Muazzy :DDD

sorry for leaving the other GM's out i dont know who they are haha i just remember a few of my good freinds form V2.

tell me what u think guys :] btw im not trying to get GM or screw someone out of it... honestly after i was admin on my server what it really comes down to is admins dont play. well GM in this case lol but u know what i mean. your always there for everyone and you have a lot of fun being everyones role model, but unfortunatly all GM's are commonly regarded as an "ATM" or if your not form the states and dont know what that is, just a person to get free stuff from. thast how i used ot think back in the good ole Ruff Rose days.

hehe thats why Muazzy and ishi are awesome because they laugh at the retards that beg for items ^^ 

and not to mention a small GM team is good :] anyway respond with thoughts or criticism either is good

We have that system already, rofl

[GG]s are like test GMs. They have exteremly limtied power, and when a GM leaves a GG gets promoted.

Also~ we currently had like a whole giant number of people becoem GMs/GGs. It's insane, I think ._.

ah ok well you have my idea but its used poorly... u shoudl only have liek 4 GG's MAXIMUM and idk 2 or 3 GM's/

but its up to you guys

 see i only saw GG's besides Muazzy and i think i saw ishi once. so i thought GG's were GM's lol. nvm i guess

but if this is how we roll take away the post saying email the applications to Admin ><

GG's = Game Guardians
GM's = Game Moderators

Game Guardians are basically the run-way for Game Moderator and is also your test run and your testing.

We have 5 GM's, and 5 GG's spots.

oh ok. sweet. ^^ haha are allt he spots taken? i never see more than one online O.O

They are usually given opposing time zones, so that we have usually atleast one GM on every hour.

who say admin doesnt play?

If I admin doesnt play his own server, how he gonna fine tune the game rates, drop and think in normal player perspective, right?

So, basically Admin does play. As Admin (if you ever see him in game) and as normal char.

Our admin looks for a time to play his own server.

And as what had Luxuria said. We have a different time zone so you may not see them ol at the same time.

Just a little bit! and it is a cleric haha form Arua i was gunna make a mage but i made it and decided i wanted a cleric andf the name stuck XD

actually mages can heal though... x)

yes, in v2, [GM]Expertester and [Admin]Solarix is me. But I prefer to login as GM Expertester because I am doing GM job at that time.

In v3, i mainly login as admin solarix is because...i am mainly do admin job. Update, fix, fine tune, restart, happy hour, testing etc...list goes on.

Once the server run smooth, and not require heavy update and fine tuning like now... then I will be more online with GM Expertester.

A GM only a GM if they use character which its name started with [GM] and
blue in color. Other than this character, they are strictly prohibited
to perform any GM power at all cost.

Update : Only [Admin] can activate Happy Hour.
