Client Log in

I had to reinstall the client and the client is working until i get to the log in screen. when i type in my name and password i hit ok, but the client just closes. help please? thanks

Try click and hold the tick for around 3 sec. Dont use enter. See if it works.

It didn't work. It just closed the client.

Did you remember to run in compatability mode for windows XP, as adminstrator etc?

this is not a good suggestion regarding solarose tho, but try to use the client u have for solarose and use it for other private server, if u can play in other server, than the problems are within our core, and we will look into it asap, but if u can't play on other private server as well, then the problem lies within ur pc/notebook, try to check ur windows system and *a really really cliche suggestion* run anti-virus, malware, spyware, adware programs.

i dl'ed the client that LightenN suggested and put it in the c drive rather in the programs folder. it seems to be working, but is the server down? i can't get to the site either to check.

Yes, the server is currently down. Check https://solarix.myftp.org/ and if the website doesn't work, most likely it's down.

Hmm if its not working while in the program files folder, it could be something to do with permission issues / protection or whatever. Vista does funny stuff at times. Thats why i tend to install my stuff in other folder other than that cause somehow, a number of my games couldnt be "read" or accessed when placed in that folder.

IT WORKED (sorry for caps) leaving the folder in the c drive instead of the program files folder allowed the client in Kiter's post that LightenN suggested to work. I dunno why it didn't work before. I went through all the admin/compatability steps. but it works now. thanks all
