WHAT IS IT?
The client error is an error you receive when you start up the SolaROSE launcher. It is an error that many people have received especially from Vista users and people who have patched to the latest version. I have found a fix to this annoying error and I will share it to you all.
STEPS (THE SAFE AND LONG WAY)
1. If you kept your setup for the installation of ROSE Online, run it.
2. Tick uninstall and then uninstall all the programs.
3. While you are installing, download the SolaROSE patch if you haven't already.
4. Delete any programs related to ROSE Online.
5. Reinstall ROSE Online.
6. Patch ROSE Online.
7. Once done patching, press Play, and then the Trigger Detect window will open up.
8. IMPORTANT: Set the setting to WINDOW MODE.
9. Run the game, and make sure it is running in Window Mode.
10. If you have done all this correctly, it will run in Window Mode and you can close it.
11. Install the SolaROSE patch and replace everything.
12. Right click the SolaROSE launcher and go to properties.
(Vista Users)13. Click on the Compatibility tab and change the compatibility to Windows XP Service Pack 2.
14. Repeat this step for the ROSE Online launcher.
15. Run the SolaROSE launcher and press Play Game and TADA, you should run it fine with no errors.
NOTE: Do not be surprised if you freeze during the introduction where it says "Gravity".
ALTERNATE WAY (SHORT BUT MOST LIKELY WORKING)
This is just a shorter way, but I don't guarantee a 100% working percent.
1. Patch the Rose ONLINE launcher till 100%.
2. Click on Play.
3. The Trigger Detect window should open.
4. IMPORTANT: Set the setting to WINDOW MODE.
5. Start up the game and it should be in window mode.
6. Exit.
7. Use the Sola ROSE patcher and replace everything.
8. Start up the Sola ROSE launcher.
9. Press play and I think there should be no error.
