For all players that cannot connect to V3 SolaRose

If you did some digging around, you would easily find that there is already a guide on to how to connect and it has two alternatives.

If you follow it directly, you should easily be able to connect.

If you cannot connect, and you think you followed it correctly, please post your problem here and i will try to help you to the best as i can, and if i cant help you, i am sure somebody else can ^_^

My issue is that everytime the client starts loading the Triggersoft page, it closes and says the client has encountered a problem.

How are you trying to update the game?


Try going into your "solaRose" folder, also known as "Rose Online Evolution" folder and running triggerdetect.
Since
my Rose Online Evolution folder in my "C:/Program
Files/TriggerSoft/Rose Online Evolution" was out of date, i needed to
get a new-er version.


So you can either download the solaRose client (or you can already have it)
OR
You can download the currect client for official rose.


and then upgrade it.

Remember,
sometimes your rose folder isnt where the Admin thinks it is, since you
can move it around, so look for the folder you are playing out of, and
upgrade it in there, but always make two folders, one for V.161, and
one for V.226 since we dont know if this server will become our main
stream.


After you have a newly updated folder,

use that link and download the patcher, then when you get to the patching screen,
make it extract to YOUR SOLAROSE FOLDER.

or you can download this, and this is the LAUNCHER for it, you place that in your solaRose v.226 folder
and then you DO NOT CLICK solaRose.exe, but you click on this file you just downloaded. (solaRose.bat)

Okay, that all helped alot. I have it all updated and the solaRosev226 but everytime i got to log in, the client just closes as soon as i click enter.

Are you sure you installed the Solarose patch v3? If not, do it.

Check to make sure that you have installed the solarose.bat file and use that to run SolaRove V3, not solaRose.exe,

SolaRose.bat is the NEW LAUNCHER.

Yeah its all right, and it looks similiar to that Muazzy, but grey-ish.
Yesterday I tried logging in and I got to server list, but then when i clicked a server the client closed. OOh and everytime its loading it gives me an error to ignore or cancel. This is the first error message,

ENGINE ASSERTION FAILED

...and the second one

I guess, instead of dragging this out. Ill just reinstall the server. If it still doesnt work Ill let you know.

EDIT : Maybe the client needed to verify the server and account, because this
only happened like 3 times, and I just tried it and i managed to log
into an account.

I cant log into my original account Iwabo, but one that i just tried managed to work, Misnomer625.

I can probably work this out on my own, so just ignore my post before this.

Well your rose packet DOES have to be a FRESH packet

OOKAY, Im just going to reinstall this all, and follow exactly each step and all that. So dont switch to V2 again >_<

hint : go to the official rose site and get the client from there, so you won't get any problems.

does solarose server DEAD? every time a log in i always show SERVER DEAD.. is this true?

i have encountered that too, you just need to login couple of times, and use the exact step to play it

i just gave up on trying to play

Lol ok you need to go to properties on your rose and go to the compatibility tab then check the first box if vista put in windows 2

@Agoraphobic: I suspect that your 3ddata.vfs might be corrupted. You may need to download a fresh copy and try it again.

@boybunay: are you trying to run using the solarose.exe or using the bat file? (you are supposed to use the bat file). The bat file should have 1 line in it: TRose.exe @TRIGGER_SOFT@ _server solarix.myftp.org

Ive already tried downloading and deleting, like 6 times. I now am able to get into the character select, but once i choose a character, the client stops responding.

Did you do the whole vista "Right Click / Properties / Compatibility Tab / check first box"?

Right click your Solarose v3 icon, click on
"properties", click on the "compatibility" tab, put a check mark on the
first check box, then select "Windows XP (Service Pack 2)", Then click
"Ok".

Lets see if this whole janga boogie works =D

Another thing to note is that you should trying playing it in Windowed Mode, not full screen, if you have not done so already. Look for a sevenhearts.ini file in your rose online directory, and open it with notepad. Look for a line that says "FULLSCREEN=" The value here should be 0.

Me too same Problem when i press solaroseV3.bat it just did not strt anything something happens and i can see Desktop and again back to old place Help Pleaseeeeeee

Well, is your solaroseV3.bat file IN THE FOLDER, which is updated to .226, because that could be one of the problems.
Also check if, you are using vista,

Right Click - solaroseV3.bat
Left Click - Properties.
Find and Click on - Compatibility "Tab"
Check first box - First box should have "Run this program in compatibility mode for"

After checking the Box, Click on the small rectangular box under it and choose your comp spec.

If what lux had said was already done, please try opening the .bat file and copy the line of text in it and paste it here. Hopefully, its not something wrong with the words inside the .bat file.

Please anyone I'm just new here and I wanted to play here. I'm having the same problems as well.

I already did the "Vista Thingy". But everytime i click on solaroseV3
and reaches the gravity interactive logo screen, it crashes!!!

Please help!!!!
