Trose.exe error when selecting a charracter

well i found this out when i had the error


DEP white listing

Turn off DEP (Data Execution Prevention)
for R.O.S.E. Online North America. Do this by right clicking My
Computer/Computer and click Properties. In Vista click Advanced system
settings in the left menu. XP users just go to the Advanced tab. Now
click the Settings button at Performance and go to the Data Execution
Prevention tab, select the second option and add the R.O.S.E. Online
North America executable (ROSEonline dot exe in the R.O.S.E. Online North America directory)
to the list. The directory can be found at "C:\Program
Files\Triggersoft\ROSE Online Evolution" unless you selected another
location during setup.

and if you do this, what exactly happens?

basicly from wat i understand. the way trose works the pc thinks its a threat so it stops it from working.. so turning it off for trose allows it to run smoothly without the pc stoping it it workd for my charr.

So this basically is a guide that allows you to get into your character if you have "T.rose"?
